Master of Arts Information Session
Description
Join us for an information session to learn more about the Graduate Theological Union (GTU)'s Common Master of Arts (MA) degree in this virtual, interactive information session.
The GTU is the most comprehensive center for the graduate study of religion in North America. With a focus on interreligious and interdisciplinary perspectives, GTU faculty and students engage the world’s great religions and wisdom traditions in contemporary contexts. The GTU educates innovative leaders for the academy, religious organizations, and the nonprofit sector, equipping scholars to embody the critical thinking, ethical frameworks, compassionate values, and spiritual foundations essential to building a more just, peaceful, and sustainable world.
Our Master of Arts program provides students a basic understanding of theological or religious studies as preparation for doctoral study or as an academic foundation or secondary school teaching, educational or social justice ministries, or leadership in the nonprofit or religious sector. The GTU's MA can be completed in-person in Berkeley, CA. There is also a fully online MA program offered as well.
This information session will provide an in-depth overview into the MA program and give you the chance to ask your questions to our experts. It will be held virtually on Tuesday, May 21st, from 10:00am to 11:00am Pacific Time (PT). We hope to see you there!
